Corona virus has resurfaced around the world, many of countries re-imposed lock down for safety of their citizens but due to shut down of business, labour class and daily wagers facing financial hardships.
US especially New York is under COVID-19 second wave, thousands of new cases and hundreds of deaths are being reported on daily basis
Resultant, business life is widely affected and citizens are suffering. In view of this situation, an organization of Pakistani-Americans Community of Long Island (PACOLI), distributed free breakfast for daily wagers at Home Depot.
On the occasion Asim Malik President, Azra Dar Senior Vice President, Atiq Qadri Vice President, Humayun Shabbir General Secretary, Salman Sheikh Comptroller, Jamal Mohsin Director and Founding Member were present.
PACOLI President Asim Malik and Senior Vice President Azra Dar said that as second wave of corona virus begun, PACOLI decided to take steps to ease financial difficulties of those suffering from Corona virus.
Other members of PACOLI were present at distribution of breakfast.
“We have arranged breakfast especially for daily wagers, May Allah Almighty accepts our efforts”, they added.
Coffee donuts and other items included in breakfast. Organization Members checked temperature of those who came for breakfast and also followed SOPs very carefully.
