Turkey never recognize US Peace plan while ragging protest widely, leaders says Peace plan is actually travesty of justice
Turkey will never recognize or accept the U.S.’ so-called peace plan, the country’s president said on Friday.
This plan aims to occupy Palestine; Recep Tayyib Erdogan told a meeting of provincial heads of his ruling Justice and Development (AK) Party in the capital Ankara. Stressing that Jerusalem is a “red line” for Turkey, the holy city is the key to world peace as it has been for thousands of years.
The so-called peace plan unilaterally withdraws previous UN resolutions on the Palestinian issue and suggests giving Israel almost everything it demanded. The “rogue state” Israel, executes innocents on the streets, is completely unacceptable for Turkey. Leaving Jerusalem entirely in Israel’s bloody claws will be the greatest evil for all humanity.
Meanwhile Malaysia slams Trumps so called Deal of the century. Criticizing the U.S.’s so-called peace plan in the Middle East, Malaysia Friday called the recently-unveiled proposal “unacceptable”. The proposal is heavily one-sided, seeking to reward Israel as the occupier at the expense of occupied Palestine and her people, statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office.
Underlining that Palestine was not involved or even consulted in formulating the proposal, it said: Palestinians have every right to reject it. The proposal was “unfair” to the Palestinian people; the statement added that the plan will only consolidate the injustices Palestinians have longed persevered. It reiterated Malaysia’s support for a two-state solution in the Israel-Palestine issue.
Malaysia stands by its position that creation of an independent state of Palestine through the two-state solution, based on the pre-1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine is the only viable solution. It also expressed Malaysia’s commitment to find a “just and lasting” solution to the conflict.
Peace plan is actually travesty of justice
Hundreds of people in Pakistan staged a rally to protest the U.S. President Donald Trump’s so-called Middle East peace plan. The rally organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PFP) — an organization of different political and religious parties — was held in the country’s southern port city of Karachi, after the Friday prayer.
Demonstrators carried banners and posters engraved with slogans such as “Palestine is the motherland of Palestinians”, “Down with Israel” and “Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Palestine.”
Addressing the rally, Muhammad Hussain Mehanti, a senior leader of the country’s mainstream religious party Jamaat-e-Islami, termed the plan “a disgrace”.
This so-called peace plan is actually a travesty of justice. It even meets Israel’s those demands, which it never made, adding: On top of all, the Palestinian government, and Hamas, which is the true representative of Palestinians, have unanimously rejected this plan.
Sabir Karbalai, the PFP secretary-general, in his remarks, said that the people of Pakistan unanimously rejected this plan.
We want to give a clear message to those Muslim leaders who are supporting this injustice that the Muslim Ummah will never accept this plan.
