American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) provides Ramadan Grocery Packages and free lunch program

American Pakistani Advocacy Group (APAG) continues to provide Ramadan Grocery Packages to the people in needs in this unprecedented times. APAG has delivered more than 1,000 groceries packages to elderly, disabled and financial distress families in Long Island, NYC and Upstate New York since the beginning of Coronavirus pandemic in USA.

The president of American Pakistani Advocacy Group Ali Rashid said that APAG was the first South Asian / Pakistan based organization started delivering groceries in New York and it’s great to see that we have motivated so many others. He thanked everyone who support APAG for humanity. Ali Rashid emphasized to everyone doing social welfare work, “Let’s keep helping and assisting communities who in need”.

He told journalist that, American Pakistani Advocacy Group is also providing free lunch program to our heroic First Respondents in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Nassau and Suffolk, five different locations throughout in the New York to serve our bravest. Ali Rashid also stated “As global citizens, it is our duty to respect and honor the service of the individuals facing this pandemic disease on the front lines. It is our responsibility to look after the people, helping us and keep our families safe. Pakistani Americans will stand with our hero who are fighting for us.”
