SSU has become the first organization in Pakistan to donate plasma

The Special Security Unit SSU has become the first organization in Pakistan to donate plasma to save the lives of coronavirus patients.
Special security Unit Headquarters hosts the seminar on Corona virus in collaboration with Dr Essa lab and National institute of blood diseases and bone marrow transplantation.

On the occasion Doctor Farhan Essa and Doctor Tahir Shamsi said in a speech the world is curing corona virus through Plasma immunization technique and in US more than twenty thousand Covid-19 infected patients has been treated and recovered so far. And in Pakistan the recovery proportion from plasma is 80%.

The team of doctors along with Dr Tahir Shamsi also met with commandos and police officers recovering from the corona virus, and urge them to donate their plasma because donating the Plasma can save at least two lives.

Eight police commandos who had recovered from the virus a week ago donate their Plasma. The Special Security Unit has become the first organization in Pakistan to donate plasma to save the lives of corona virus patients.

DIG Police, Security and Emergency Services Division, Maqsood Ahmed encouraged plasma donors and announced a reward of Rs 10,000 each. He also urged patients recovering from corona viruses to donate their plasma to save as many lives as possible.
