SHARJAH: The defending champions Peshawar Zalmi are facing off two times finalists Quetta Gladiators in the 10th game of the HBL PSL 2018 at the Sharjah Cricket Stadium, tonight.
The tournament has entered into an exciting phase after the first round of teams’ clashes against each other.
The second phase begins tonight in Sharjah as finalists of the last PSL are taking on each other.
Quetta are flying high on the back of performances from their top players including Kevin Pietersen, Mohammad Nawaz and Shane Watson.
They are among hot favourites for the title with this devastating lineup.
With two out of three wins, Quetta have an upper hand in tonight’s clash against Peshawar Zalmi who have lost their two games out of three.
“We are all prepared and set to face Quetta Gladiators, whom we defeated in the final last year. They are a good team and have made some changes so they will be a very different team now,” said Peshawar captain Darren Sammy, who lifted the final in a historic final at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore last year. “We have worked on our weak areas and are all set to give our best against Quetta Gladiators.”
It would be interesting to see how the two sides perform tonight.
