Friends of Kashmir International (FKI) in collaboration with Pakistani Consulate in Houston organizes Webinar on Exploitation Day.
Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Masood Khan joined as Chief guest, Congresswoman Sheila Jackson, Congresswoman Eddie Bernie Johnson, Congressman Jim Banks and State Representative Terry Meza delivered a speech through webinar, being present among other guests on this occasion.
According to President Masood Khan, human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir have reached a critical stage. No civilized state in the world should tolerate the basic violations of such sort, he added.
He briefed the participants in detail about the ongoing Indian atrocities and oppression in Indian occupied Kashmir, regarding the state as a “human prison”.
Speaking at the event, state representative Terry Meza said human rights abuses are unacceptable to any civilized society. The US governmental representatives will raise their voice for the people of Occupied Kashmir at all levels and will not leave them alone in this difficult time.
He added that according to the UN resolutions, the right to self-determination is right of Kashmiris which they should get and Kashmiris should have the freedom to live as all human beings in the world.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Dr. Asad Majeed said that the entire Pakistani nation is with Kashmiris and will never be left alone. Through its successful diplomacy, Pakistan has made the world aware of the ongoing atrocities on Kashmiris, resultant the face of the real Hindutva hidden under the disguise of democracy in India has become visible to all.
On the occasion, Ghazala Habib, Chairperson of Friends of Kashmir International said that Kashmiris have been sacrificing for their independence for more than seventy years and now is not far off that Kashmiris will soon find their destination of independence.
Houston Counsil General Abrar Hashmi said that Pakistan would continue to provide full political and diplomatic support to Kashmiris.
On the occasion, Lord Nazir Ahmed from UK, Senator Shaheen Bhatt, Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Coordinator Abid Malik, Journalist Mazhar Barlas, Leading Community Leader Abdul Hafeez Khan, Deputy Consul General Irfanullah Khan, President Pak Pack Kamran Rao, Kashmiri Activist Ms. Rifat Wani Tahir Khawaja, Engineer Rizwan Aslam, Zubair Habib, Abdul Hameed Lone, Mubashir Warraich and Raja Najabat Hussain as well as a large number of journalists and committee leaders attended the webinar and presented their views on Indian aggression in occupied Kashmir. The participants expressed the view that India cannot deprive Kashmiris of their freedom through aggression and cruelty.
Pakistani and Kashmiri Diaspora all over the world will become the voice of the oppressed Kashmiris in all respects and will force the powers of the world to have the rightful freedom for the Kashmiris restored to them.
