At least five people have been killed and many more injured in the second mass shooting in the US state of Texas in a month.<\/p>\n
According to authorities, the shooting started with a traffic stop. A gunman drove on the highways and streets of in the West Texas cities of Midland and Odessa , opening fire on residents, motorists and shoppers.<\/p>\n
First to be shot was a policeman who stopped the gunman’s car between the cities of Midland and Odessa.<\/p>\n
The suspected shooter, described by police as a white male in his 30s, went on to shoot at numerous motorists and passers-by. At one point, he abandoned his car and stole a postal truck before continuing his spree.<\/p>\n
He was shot dead by police at a cinema complex. While \u00a0three law enforcement officers were among the injured.<\/p>\n
