The same calling card was left behind during recent hacks of other high-profile social media personalities.<\/p>\n<p>The profile, which has more than four million followers, tweeted out a flurry of highly offensive and racist remarks for about 15 minutes. The messages contained racial epithets, and included a retweet of a message supporting Nazi Germany.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter said that the phone number associated with Dorsey&#8217;s account was \u201ccompromised due to a security oversight by the mobile provider\u201d, allowing a hacker to posts tweets to @jack by sending text messages.<\/p>\n<p>Twitter said on Friday the account of chief executive Jack Dorsey had been \u201ccompromised\u201d after a series of erratic and offensive messages were posted.<\/p>\n<p>It appeared that tweets posted on Dorsey&#8217;s account by the hacker were up for about a half-hour before they were removed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The co-founder and chief executive of Twitter had his own account on the service briefly taken over by hackers.
