MARYLAND: Rao Rana Rajput USA Families group organized a grand and prestigious gathering for the Pakistani-American community in Maryland.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event was hosted by group\u2019s vice chairman Ahmed Rana and general secretary Shahzad Manzoor. \u00a0More than 700 people including elders, youth, women, and children, attended in the memorable event.<\/p>\n

Various speakers addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of community unity, the preservation of cultural heritage, and the need to keep the younger generation connected to their roots.<\/p>\n

Maryland Senator Dr. Clarence K. Lam and Senator Benjamin Brooks delivered special addresses, commending the positive contributions and services of the Rajput community within American society.<\/p>\n

The event was also addressed by a representative from the Maryland Governor\u2019s Office, Secretary Chaudhry Atif (Department of General Services), and Pakistani Senator Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan, who traveled from Pakistan.<\/p>\n

During the proceedings, 100 prizes including iPhones, Samsung phones, and tablets were distributed through a lucky draw organized by Rao Umer, Rao Hamza, and Rao Ismail.<\/p>\n

Senator Rana Mahmood-ul-Hassan honored the organization’s office-bearers by presenting them with traditional Rajput turbans, while the women were presented with \u201cAjrak\u201d shawls and caps.<\/p>\n
