NEWYORK: Police have released a photo to arrest the suspect who stole money from the pockets of worshipers at the Mecca Masjid in New York.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A reward of up to $3,500 will be given to anyone who provides information leading to an arrest.<\/p>\n

The incident of money being stolen from the pockets of jackets, coats, jerseys, etc. hanging at the entrance of the Mecca Masjid on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn has raised concerns among the Masjid administration.<\/p>\n

It was revealed after reviewing the video of the CCTV cameras during prayer hours that an unidentified young man comes to the Masjid during prayer hours and stole cash and valuables from the jackets hanging at the entrance of the Masjid.<\/p>\n

The Masjid administration filed a complaint with the New York City Police and has also provided footage from the CCTV cameras installed in the Masjid.<\/p>\n

NYPD Crime Stoppers has released a photo of the young suspect involved in the theft with the help of the footage provided by the Masjid administration to identify and arrest him.<\/p>\n

Police say they have also announced a $3,500 reward for information leading to the identification or arrest of the suspect. Information about the suspect involved in the theft can be provided to Crime Stoppers.<\/p>\n
