{"id":40761,"date":"2026-06-30T17:20:34","date_gmt":"2026-06-30T17:20:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/?p=40761"},"modified":"2026-06-30T17:20:34","modified_gmt":"2026-06-30T17:20:34","slug":"mayor-mamdani-announces-100000-free-tickets-to-watch-macys-fourth-of-july-fireworks-along-brooklyn-and-manhattan-waterfront","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/40761","title":{"rendered":"Mayor Mamdani announces 100,000 free tickets to watch Macy\u2019s fourth of July fireworks along Brooklyn and Manhattan waterfront"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>NEWYORK: Mayor Zohran Kwame Mamdani announced 100,000 free tickets for New Yorkers to watch the Macy\u2019s Fourth of July Fireworks from prime viewing areas at Brooklyn Bridge Park in Brooklyn and the Seaport in Manhattan.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Winners will be notified between June 30 and July 2 and may claim up to four tickets.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the ticketed viewing areas at Brooklyn Bridge Park and the Seaport, non-ticketed public viewing areas will be available along the FDR Drive in Manhattan.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOn the Fourth of July, Americans come together to look at where we\u2019ve come as a nation, and where we want to go together in the future. Hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers will gather along our waterfront to celebrate, and we\u2019re making sure that some of the best views are available for free,\u201d said\u00a0Mayor Mamdani.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom Brooklyn Bridge Park to the Seaport to the FDR, we\u2019re opening our public spaces so New Yorkers can come together and enjoy this night together.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Selected lottery winners will receive an email with instructions to claim their tickets and choose a preferred viewing area. Winners may claim up to four tickets. Children younger than 2 do not require a ticket.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvents like the Fourth of July Fireworks remind us that our parks and open spaces are more than places to relax \u2014 they are where New Yorkers come together to celebrate, connect and create lasting memories,\u201d said\u00a0NYC Parks Commissioner Tricia Shimamura.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese shared public spaces have an important purpose, by bringing people from every neighborhood together for moments that strengthen our sense of community. Opening our parks and waterfronts for celebrations like this ensures they remain vibrant, welcoming, and accessible to everyone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBrooklyn Bridge Park is honored to serve as the gathering place for this iconic New York City tradition. The Fourth of July fireworks are a celebration of community, public space, and the spirit of our city,\u201d said\u00a0Brooklyn Bridge Park President Eric Landau.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThank you to Mayor Mamdani, our city agency partners, first responders, and the countless individuals working behind the scenes to ensure a safe and memorable experience for all.
