NEW YORK: New York Police Department officers visited the Mecca Masjid in Brooklyn and met with the administration.<\/p>\n

The Masjid administration appreciated the services of the police officers and presented awards to them.<\/p>\n

A delegation led by the commanding officer of the 70th Precinct of the New York Police Department visited the Mecca Masjid on Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn and met with the mosque administration.<\/p>\n

Mecca Mosque Chairman Zafar Iqbal, community activist Raja Azad Gul and social figures from the Pakistani American community were also present on the occasion.<\/p>\n

The police officers said that there should be bilateral cooperation between the community and the police for the betterment of the society.<\/p>\n

Zafar Iqbal acknowledged the services of the police officers, appreciated their cooperation and expressed gratitude for the provision of security.
