{"id":40368,"date":"2026-05-06T17:55:02","date_gmt":"2026-05-06T17:55:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/?p=40368"},"modified":"2026-05-06T17:55:02","modified_gmt":"2026-05-06T17:55:02","slug":"pakistani-american-businessman-and-social-figure-farasat-chaudhry-laid-to-rest-in-new-jersey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/40368","title":{"rendered":"Pakistani-American businessman and social figure Farasat Chaudhry laid to rest in New Jersey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>NEWYORK: A prominent political, social and business figure of the Pakistani American community in New York Farasat Chaudhry was laid to rest in graveyard New Jersey.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The funeral prayers of Farasat Chaudhry were offered at the Mecca Masjid on Coney Island Avenue, led by Imam Qari Osama, in which a large number of close friends of the deceased and members of the Pakistani American community participated.<\/p>\n<p>Addressing the participants, Qari Osama said that the time of death of every person is fixed, but no one knows when someone will leave this world, so try to do everything according to the commands of the God and the Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him).<\/p>\n<p>Farasat Chaudhry was cardiac patient and underwent an operation at a local hospital in New York a few days ago in which he could not be recovered.<\/p>\n<p>Al Rayan Muslim Funeral Services made arrangements for the shroud and burial of the deceased.<\/p>\n<p>At the funeral prayer, all the friends and relatives of Farasat Chaudhry expressed sorrow over the demise of the deceased. Prayers were also offered for the forgiveness of the deceased and the elevation of his rank in paradise.<\/p>\n<p>Community members said that the death of Farasat Chaudhry was a great loss to the community.
