{"id":39721,"date":"2026-02-24T13:15:04","date_gmt":"2026-02-24T13:15:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/?p=39721"},"modified":"2026-02-24T13:15:04","modified_gmt":"2026-02-24T13:15:04","slug":"pakistan-qatar-review-trade-economic-cooperation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/39721","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan, Qatar review trade &#038; economic cooperation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>DOHA: Qatar&#8217;s Minister of State on Foreign Trade and Chairman of Pak-Qatar Joint business taskforce, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, called on Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif in Doha.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, the two sides reviewed bilateral trade and economic cooperation and expressed satisfaction over the growing momentum in Pakistan\u2013Qatar relations.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister emphasized the importance of enhancing bilateral trade volumes and diversifying Pakistan\u2019s exports to Qatar, particularly in agricultural products, food items and value-added goods.<\/p>\n<p>Both sides discussed follow-up to the 6th Session of the Pakistan-Qatar Joint Ministerial Commission and reaffirmed their commitment to implementing agreed decisions.<\/p>\n<p>The Prime Minister also highlighted Pakistan\u2019s investment-friendly reforms and the role of the Special Investment Facilitation Council, in facilitating foreign investment.<\/p>\n<p>Dr Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed reiterated Qatar\u2019s interest in expanding economic cooperation and strengthening private-sector and business linkages between the two countries.<\/p>\n<p>The two sides also agreed to convene a meeting of the task force comprising relevant officials of both countries, within the month of Ramadan, to discuss concrete investment proposals for Qatari investment in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<p>The meeting underscored the shared resolve to further deepen trade, investment and industrial collaboration between Pakistan and Qatar.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>DOHA: Qatar&#8217;s Minister of State on Foreign Trade and Chairman of Pak-Qatar Joint business taskforce, Dr. Ahmed bin Mohammed Al-Sayed, called on Prime Minister Mohammad Shehbaz Sharif in Doha.
