NEWYORK: Pakistan\u2019s federal minister for Railways Mohammad Hanif Abbasi met Pakistani-American businessman Chaudhry Tanveer at his residence in New York.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Chaudhry Tanveer welcomed Hanif Abbasi on his arrival and presented him with a bouquet. Despite the federal minister\u2019s short and busy visit to the US, this personal meeting is being viewed with great respect in community circles.<\/p>\n

Chaudhry Tanveer said that it is a matter of pride and honor for him that the federal minister visited his house. He described this meeting as a manifestation of love, sincerity and commitment to Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Several prominent leaders and respected members of the Pakistani American community, including Pakistan\u2019s Consul General in New York, Aamir Ahmed Atuzai, also attended the meeting.<\/p>\n

Community leaders said that such contacts not only strengthen the relationship between overseas Pakistanis and the government of Pakistan but also promote mutual trust and cooperation.<\/p>\n
