{"id":38423,"date":"2025-10-07T16:31:05","date_gmt":"2025-10-07T16:31:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/?p=38423"},"modified":"2025-10-07T16:31:05","modified_gmt":"2025-10-07T16:31:05","slug":"pakistans-nab-malaysian-anti-corruption-commission-sign-mou","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/38423","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan\u2019s NAB, Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission sign MoU"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>KUAL LUMPUR: National Accountability Bureau of Pakistan and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen the collaboration in preventing and combating corruption.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The MoU was signed and exchanged by deputy chairman NAB Sohail Nasir and Chief Commissioner of Malaysia&#8217;s Anti-Corruption Commission Azam Bin Baki in Putrajaya, Kual Lumpur, Malaysia.<\/p>\n<p>The ceremony was witnessed by the Pakistan\u2019s prime minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Malaysian PM Anwar Ibrahim.<\/p>\n<p>The MoU aims at mutual assistance, joint capacity building and technical cooperation in foiling and fighting the corruption. This collaboration between the anti-corruption bodies of both countries will be beneficial as it will enhance the technical assistance in operational activities.<\/p>\n<p>The MoU will further facilitate the exchange of information on legislative developments and community education to enhance public awareness on anti-corruption.<\/p>\n<p>This intends to strengthen public participation in preventing and combating corruption.<\/p>\n<p>The human resource capacity will be improvised through professional training courses, exchange of expertise and experiences.<\/p>\n<p>Given the global concerns about corruption, money laundering, cross-border financial crimes, this MoU will facilitate joint efforts in tackling illicit financial flows, strengthening legal frameworks and aligning with international conventions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>KUAL LUMPUR: National Accountability Bureau of Pakistan and Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission have signed a Memorandum of Understanding to strengthen the collaboration in preventing and combating corruption.
