NEWYORK: The largest Halal Guide Festival in New York’s history concluded in which more than 30,000 people attended. Halal food has further enhanced the importance of cuisines around the world.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The 12th annual The Halal Guide Food Festival, organized by Bellow Poultry Farms and Droplets of Mercy, was held at Nassau County Community College.<\/p>\n

The air was filled with the aroma of different types of food. Hammad Sheikh of The Halal Guide said that the participation of such a large number is the proof of our success. \u00a0He said that we want to bring the community together in a place where everyone can not only enjoy halal food but also understand its importance.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

The festival featured countless stalls selling beautiful clothes, jewelry and other decorative items for purchase.<\/p>\n

The jumping castle, games and entertainment activities were also arranged for the children.<\/p>\n

Consul General of Pakistan in New York Amir Ahmed Atuzai said that he had never seen such a large halal food festival in the United States before. He said this is a great example of connecting cultures and civilizations.<\/p>\n

Pakistani-origin officers appointed to various positions in the Nassau County Executive administration also participated.<\/p>\n

Senior Advisor to the County Executive, Chaudhry Akram, called it the largest festival of this community and the best campaign to educate the young generation about halal food.<\/p>\n

Raza Dastgir of the Halal Guide expressed his gratitude to all his sponsors, saying that our idea would never have been successful if the community had not supported us.<\/p>\n

The services of various sponsors who ensured the organization of the festival were appreciated and they were presented with certificates of appreciation.<\/p>\n

Famous Qawwal Asif Ali Khan Santo and his companions enthralled the audience with their magnificent performance of Qawali.<\/p>\n

Nassau County Asian American Affairs Director Aun Naqvi and legislative candidate Shahryar Ali appealed to the community to participate fully in the election process.<\/p>\n
