NEWYORK: A prominent social and business figure of the Pakistani American community Amjad Khawaja passed away in New York.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The funeral prayers of Amjad Khawaja were offered at Islamic Center of Long Island.<\/p>\n

A large number of relatives, close friends and community members of the Amjad Khawaja attended the funeral prayers.<\/p>\n

Amjad Khawaja was laid to rest in the Long Island graveyard. Amjad Khawaja is survived by a widow, three sons, two sisters and grandchildren.<\/p>\n

The Pakistani-American community expressed deep sorrow over the demise of Amjad Khawaja and observed that Amjad Khawaja\u2019s selfless services will be remembered.<\/p>\n
