NEWYORK: Nassau County Executive Bruce Blakeman has urged voters to get elected the Republican\u2019s legislator candidate for Nassau county Sheharyar Ali to the position of legislator in the November 4th election as he will not disappoint the people.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He was speaking at a fundraising dinner organized in honor of Sheharyar Ali by the American Punjabi Society.<\/p>\n

The American Punjabi Society has gathered voters in support of Sheharyar Ali, a candidate for the legislature from District 14 of Nassau County.<\/p>\n

The Sikh community participated in the fundraising dinner held at Pearl Terrace in large numbers. The special guest, County Executive Bruce Blakeman, addressed the participants and said that he had prevented the increase of $150 million in taxes in the county, and young people like Sheharyar Ali should get full opportunities for the development of the county and a better future.<\/p>\n

Prominent figures from the Pakistani American community also participated in the ceremony.<\/p>\n

Addressing the audience, American Punjabi Society President Gary Sikka and Patron-in-Chief Harry Singh Bhola mentioned their visit to Pakistan for the Kartarpur Corridor last year and the memorable hospitality.<\/p>\n

They said that the community services of Sheharyar Ali and his family are not hidden from anyone. They expressed hope that Sheharyar Ali will make history by winning the legislator election.<\/p>\n

Addressing the participants, legislator candidate Sheharyar Ali said that America is a land, where you can turn your dreams into reality, but you just have to make the right decision at the right time. He said that this time the community has to decide the future for themselves iand their children on November 4.<\/p>\n

The participants of the event reiterated their commitment to support Sheharyar Ali. On this occasion Naveen Shah and other leaders said that they are all with Sheharyar Ali.<\/p>\n

Other members of the American Punjabi Society at the event said that it is our responsibility to make Sheharyar Ali win for a safe and bright future.<\/p>\n
