NEWYORK: Jafferia Association of North America took out mourning procession in Manhattan, New York to commemorate and pay tribute to the martyrs of Karbala.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A large number of mourners participated in the procession, including young, men, women, old people, and children. Symbols of the martyrs of Karbala, Zuljanah, Flag and other relics were displayed while a lament was also recited in English.<\/p>\n

The participants of the procession said that the incident of Karbala would keep reminding the world about the great sacrifice of Hazrat Imam Hussain (RA), a grandson of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), and his supporters resistance against the oppressors for upholding the true spirit of Islam.<\/p>\n

The mourners kept reciting lament and chest beating during the entire route of the procession.<\/p>\n
