{"id":36077,"date":"2025-02-25T16:32:18","date_gmt":"2025-02-25T16:32:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/?p=36077"},"modified":"2025-02-25T16:32:18","modified_gmt":"2025-02-25T16:32:18","slug":"pakistani-american-collects-funds-for-shaukat-khanum-caner-memorial-hospital","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/36077","title":{"rendered":"Pakistani American collects funds for Shaukat Khanum caner memorial hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>CHARLOTTE: A fundraising gala dinner was held at a private hotel in Charlotte, North Carolina for the Shaukat Khanum Cancer Memorial Hospital, being constructed in Karachi, in which donations of $95,000 were collected.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital&#8217;s CEO Dr. Faisal Sultan and Pakistan&#8217;s famous actor Wahaj Ali were the special guests of the event who were warmly welcomed by the participants.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers of the event included Ali Khayyam Shakir, Maskan Shakir, Raja Waqqas Abbasi, Hina Salim, Saima Khan, Aisha Hayat and others.<\/p>\n<p>Dr. Faisal Sultan said that Shaukat Khanum is a source of hope for cancer patients in Pakistan. He said that 75 percent free treatment of patients is only possible due to the donations of philanthropists.<\/p>\n<p>The speakers said that whatever one give to save the lives of the patients will be rewarded hereafter.<\/p>\n<p>Actor Wahaj Ali also got make selfies with the children and his fans.
