NEWYORK: ICNA Relief, the largest Muslim charity organization in America, held its annual fundraising event in New York, where donations of $600,000 were collected in just two hours.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event was graced by newly-converted to Islam writer and social activist Shaun King, who spoke about his life journey and his influence on Islam.<\/p>\n

The event\u2019s special guest Dr. Ayman Hamous also addressed the participants and emphasized the importance of charitable activities in the Muslim community.<\/p>\n

The event was also attended by Muslim member of the New York city Assembly and mayoral candidate Zahran Mamdani, who appreciated the work of ICNA Relief and highlighted the need for community unity and cooperation in charitable works.<\/p>\n

ICNA Relief NEW York\u2019s President Tariq Ur Rehman highlighted the services of the organization, while ICNA Relief Head Ishaq Athar also discussed the importance of fundraising and charitable works.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, a documentary about ICNA Relief\u2019s work was also shown, while ICNA Relief officials informed the participants about organization’s working.<\/p>\n

During the ceremony, awards were presented to those individuals who have played a significant role in the welfare and service of the Muslim community.<\/p>\n
