{"id":35476,"date":"2025-01-01T18:35:05","date_gmt":"2025-01-01T18:35:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/?p=35476"},"modified":"2025-01-15T10:53:43","modified_gmt":"2025-01-15T10:53:43","slug":"pakistan-reaffirms-collaboration-with-un-for-peace-deputy-pm","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/35476","title":{"rendered":"Work together to do better : Philemon Yang"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>New York: As we celebrate the New Year and look to the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations, I call on all citizens of the world to come together in the spirit of \u2018unity in diversity\u2019, recognizing that our differences should not be a source of division but of strength.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In Video Remarks by the President of the General Assembly Philemon Yang said that during the current year, 2024, we have achieved remarkable things and overcome immense obstacles.<\/p>\n<p>He emphasised that together, we will address each of the challenges that lie in our path.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>In the forthcoming year, 2025, let us seize the opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments and chart a path forward that allows us to advance together, even further, even faster, towards universal well-being.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>As President of the General Assembly, I am committed to working with all parties to end conflicts, usher in peace, work towards economic progress and demonstrate support to our fellow human beings, wherever they are on our planet.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Let us work together to do better, to be better to ourselves, and to each other. Let us do right by our planet and our environment.
