NEWYORK: As extremely cold was gripping the New York, the difficulties of the low income group people have been increased.\u00a0 Keeping in view of such difficulties, The New Life Minority Human Rights Council, an organization of Pakistani women, distributed blankets, jackets and toys to the needy families and children.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The New Life Minority Human Rights Council went above and beyond to provide free warm clothes to needy and low income people in the harsh winter and distributed blankets, warm cloths and toys at Coney Island Avenue in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

Pakistan’s Consul General Amir Ahmed Atuzai also participated in the winter drive’s charity activity. He distributed blankets, jackets, etc. among the needy and called the organization’s efforts commendable.<\/p>\n

A large number of immigrants reached the stalls outside the New Life office to get warm clothes and blankets. The organization\u2019s chairperson, Rahila Aslam, said that we always try to do something to help the underprivileged and deprived sections.<\/p>\n

During the winter drive, toys were also distributed to children who came with their families on the occasion of Christmas and New Year, which made the children\u2019s faces light up with joy.<\/p>\n

A senior leader of NLMHRC Dr. Salma Kausar said that we organize many welfare activities and our first priority is to empower women.<\/p>\n
