Addressing 17th death anniversary of Pakistan’s first female Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto, PPP US President said that Benazir Bhutto was truly Benazir and the courageous daughter of a brave father. Other PPP leaders also addressed on this occassion.<\/p>\n

The speakers said that Benazir Bhutto endured her father’s arrest and execution, the murder of her brothers, her husband’s eleven-year imprisonment and her own long exile, but she did not give up on the political struggle and the fight for public rights.<\/p>\n

The speakers said that had Benazir Bhutto been alive today, Pakistan would have been reaching new heights of development in every field.<\/p>\n
