{"id":33671,"date":"2024-07-18T13:30:17","date_gmt":"2024-07-18T13:30:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/?p=33671"},"modified":"2024-07-18T13:30:17","modified_gmt":"2024-07-18T13:30:17","slug":"mayor-adams-announces-new-appointments-to-help-lead-new-york-city-government","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/33671","title":{"rendered":"Mayor Adams announces new appointments to help lead New York city government"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>NEWYORK: New York city Mayor Eric Adams announced several new appointments that will help lead critical teams within the Adams administration.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Chauncey Parker has been appointed to serve as assistant deputy mayor for public safety; Reggie Thomas has been appointed to serve as chief of staff in the office of the first deputy Mayor; and Frank Dwyer has been appointed to serve as chief of staff in the office of the deputy Mayor for communications.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Katherine Maro has been promoted to first deputy chief of staff in the Office of the Chief of Staff.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur administration works every day to keep New Yorkers safe, make our city more affordable, and create a more livable city. Chauncey, Reggie, Frank, and Katherine bring decades of experience across the public and private sector to city government and will help bolster those crucial efforts,\u201d said Mayor Adams.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are dedicated, driven leaders who know how to \u2018Get Stuff Done\u2019 for their fellow New Yorkers, and I look forward to working with all of them to build a safer, stronger city.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am excited to welcome Reggie Thomas back to City Hall as my chief of staff,\u201d said First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith a distinguished career in service \u2014 both in and out of government \u2014 Reggie brings a wealth of experience, leadership, and dedication to our team.
