NEWYORK: American Pakistani Advocacy Group organized food drive in New York in which essential items were distributed to the comunity people on the eve of Eid-al-Azha.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The American Pakistani Advocacy Group held its fourth annual Eid al-Azha food drive at Allama Iqbal Avenue, Richmond Hill, Queens. APAG distributed ration to the needy families on the eve of Eid al-Azha.<\/p>\n

American Pakistani Advocacy Group\u2019s head Ali Rashid said that flour, rice, pulses, tea bags, fruits, vegetables, bread, eggs and many other things including essential food items have been distributed to hundreds of low income families to help them on the eve of Eid-al-Azha.<\/p>\n

NY council member Lynn Schulman , who participated in the food drive, said that she is very happy to be here with APEG distributing rations to the Muslim American community because it’s Eid and we want to make sure that everyone should have food and have a good time.<\/p>\n

American Pakistani Advocacy Group\u2019s official, who participated in the food drive, said that our effort \u00a0was for the purpose that many people who do not have food items can benefit from this facility and many people came to us who were distributed food items without any discrimination.<\/p>\n
