Destefano, Robinson Iglesias, and Sadia Malik. \u00a0The hosts welcomed their guest, Congressman Adriano Espaillat.<\/p>\n<p>The General Secretary of the Pakistan Civic Association, Sadia Malik, has appealed to Congressman Adriano Espaillate to pay attention to expediting the pending cases of immigration as soon as possible.<\/p>\n<p>The participants of the event asked the Congressman questions on various issues and drew his attention to the problems being faced by them. \u00a0The congressman said that anyone who commits a crime cannot be supported but immigrants generally avoid breaking the law.<\/p>\n<p>Prominent personalities from the political, social, and business sectors from Staten Island also participated in the event. Later, in a conversation with Voice of South Asia, Congressman Adriano Espaillat said that the issue of immigrants is a serious problem that needs for reforms in immigration laws.
