New York: In a dramatic move, the New York City Mayor, Eric Adams has categorically denied a passage of his book about how he accidentally fired a gun in school as a child, saying that the incident mentioned in his book titled: ‘Don’t Let It Happen’ is not true.<\/strong><\/p>\n

He gave this explanation during the weekly press conference in response to the question of the journalists.<\/p>\n

14 years ago in 2009, the current mayor of New York City, Eric Adams, who was then an elected senator of the state assembly, wrote a book titled “Don’t Let It Happen”. An article published in a web magazine last week is once again in the limelight after the incident mentioned in the book.<\/p>\n

Meyer was asked that there is an incident recorded in the book he wrote that one day when he was in school, his friend brought a pistol. Eric Adams thought that the pistol was a toy gun and took the gun from his friend, and shot multiple fires but luckily no one was hit. Adams got scared and immediately ran away from there.<\/p>\n

In response to this question, Mayor said that his co-author had many misunderstandings. The book was never sent for publication because it did not go through the proofreading stage.<\/p>\n

The mayor briefed the media about the arrival of immigrants and other urban problems and the measures taken to solve them.<\/p>\n

The mayor and his spokesperson did not reveal who is the co-author with him in authoring the book.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson says that the mayor has already contacted the publisher to withdraw the book available in the market.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
