New York: Kashmiris and Sikh community members staged a protest demonstration outside the UN headquarters against human rights violations in Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK), amid the Indian External Affairs Minister (EAM) Subrahmanyam Jaishankar\u2019s speech at the 78th<\/sup> annual session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).<\/strong><\/p>\n

Despite the heavy rain and freezing winds, a large number of people participated in the demonstration and exposed India’s extremist face to the global media and international community.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, senior Kashmiri leaders Ghulam Nabi Fai and Sardar Sawar Khan said that the United Nations has not fulfilled its promise it made in its resolutions to the Kashmiris.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the protesters chanted slogans against Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his oppressive army.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

The protestors said that for the past seventy-five years, India has been inflicting atrocities on the oppressed Kashmiris.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the Sikh community also strongly protested against the extreme policies of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<\/p>\n

Protesters also raised slogans in favor of freedom for Khalistan and against the recent killing of a Sikh leader in Canada.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, the Sikh protesters said that the extremist face of India has been exposed to the whole world by the killing of the Sikh leader in Canada.<\/p>\n

The Indian Prime Minister and his secret agency RAW are involved in this murder, they alleged.<\/p>\n
