New York: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) New York Chapter held a protest demonstration at Times Square against the conviction and arrest of their party Chairman, and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

A large number of PTI activists including the party senior leader Shehbaz Gill participated in the protest.<\/p>\n

Recently, Chairman PTI has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by the court in the Tausha Khana case.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, fierce slogans were raised by the protestors and the release of Chairman Tehreek-e-Insaf.<\/p>\n

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Shehbaz Gill while addressing the protesters said that Imran Khan is a brave and courageous leader of the nation and he is fighting for oppressed Pakistanis.<\/p>\n

They are standing for a nation that has no idea of their own. He further said that Imran Khan will die but he is not going to break.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Amjad Nawaz, the senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf New York, who is one of the organizers of the protest, while talking to Voice of South Asia, said that overseas Pakistanis want see Pakistan prosperous through institutional strengthening.<\/p>\n

Other participants in the protest said that the voice of the people cannot be suppressed by arresting Imran Khan.<\/p>\n

Maghrib prayers were also offered during the protest at Times Square.<\/p>\n
