New York: New York Attorney General Letitia \u201cTish\u201d James\u00a0 served food items to the fasting Muslims at an Iftar Dinner organized by her office in collaboration with the New York Police Department NYPD’s Muslim Officers Society (MOS) at the Turkish Islamic Center Tayyap Sultan.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Muslim community attended the Iftar dinner in large numbers.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Addressing the participants of the ceremony, Attorney General said: “I want to thank all those who welcomed me to this sacred place.”<\/p>\n

She also appreciated the services of Muslim Officers Society and its President Deputy Inspector Adeel Rana.<\/p>\n

On this occasion, Adeel Rana said that Turkish Islamic Center Tyyab Sultan is our favorite mosque.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

There couldn’t be a better place for this dignified ceremony than this Turkish cultural center.<\/p>\n

He said, “Unfortunately, Turkey is in a very difficult situation right now. We want to support our Turkish brothers and sisters and bridge the gap between all communities.”
\nOther participants in the iftar dinner also expressed their views on this occasion.<\/p>\n

When it was time to break the fast at the dusk, the Azan-e-Maghrib ( Evening pray calling) sounds were raised to sky, after which prayers were offered in congregation.<\/p>\n

The Iftar dinner was attended by the Muslim community in large numbers and thanked the Lord for His blessings during the blessed hours of Ramadan.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
