NEW YORK: A glaring example of interfaith harmony, Brooklyn Borough President Antonio Reynoso, a non-Muslim by religion offered prayer (Namaz-e Magrib) in the congregation at an Iftar-Dinner function.<\/b><\/p>\n

The grand Iftar-Dinner was held in honor of the Muslim Community at his office. Muslim community participated in large numbers at the event.<\/p>\n

The Brooklyn Borough President, a non-Muslim by religion attended congregational prayers with Muslims. This guesture of inter-faith harmony is greatly admired by Muslims as well as non-Muslims in US and the world over.<\/p>\n

Antonio Reynoso said the Muslim community is populated in large numbers. \u201cThis community has always supported me and I am grateful to them for that.\u201d<\/p>\n

In the event, awards were also distributed to those who have rendered valuable services to the community.<\/p>\n
