New York: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) New York chapter President Amjad Nawaz organized a grand function to celebrate PTI’s recent by-election victory in Pakistan’s Punjab province.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event was held in senior party leader Ikram Awan\u2019s residence in New York. The ceremony started with the recitation of the Holy Quran, followed by special prayers for the unity and brotherhood of the Muslim Ummah.<\/p>\n

Party leaders, workers, and other members of the community also participated in great numbers.<\/p>\n

The famous patriotic song \u201ctera Pakistan hai yeh mera Pakistan hai,\u201d was sung, and the National Anthem was also presented on this occasion.<\/p>\n

PTI New York President Amjad Nawaz expressed his views and said: \u201cWe used to pray to Allah almighty to give us a great leader. And Allah has blessed us with the best leader in the form of Imran Khan.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Tehreek-e-Insaf New York General Secretary Khurshid Bhalli and PTI New Jersey President Naveed Waraich said that PTI’s recent victory has changed the political map of Pakistan.<\/p>\n

Samina Haider of PTI women’s wing and senior PTI leader Zaman Afridi in their address to the participants said that the victory of PTI has made Pakistanis proud all over the world.<\/p>\n

The attendees were served sweets and hot jalebis.<\/p>\n

Other Insafians participating in the celebration expressed their heart felt felicitations, and reiterated their commitment that they will be with Imran Khan every step of the way.<\/p>\n

PTI New York President Amjad Nawaz recited a poem written by him and got a lot of applause from the audience.<\/p>\n

\u201cNow the chains will be broken. Now we will have freedom together. No more thieves, no more tall claims. No more hypocritical noises. Now is the turn of the truth.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
