A fundraising program was held at Yonkers, New York, for the Congress candidate from California, Dr. Asif Mehmood. The event was hosted by Haji Younas Tahir, while PPP USA President Muhammad Khalid Awan was the sponsor of the fundraising program.<\/p>\n

A large number of Pakistani Americans gathered at the residence of Haji Younas Tahir. The program started with the recitation of the Holy Quran.<\/p>\n

While addressing the participants, PPP USA President Muhammad Khalid Awan said that it is a big decision for the Pakistani community that there is someone who will take our voice to the House.<\/p>\n

Dr. Asif Mehmood said that 18 years ago, Benazir Bhutto predicted that I would be The Leader of the City of Los Angeles. He said that Pakistanis-Americans are well-aware of the importance of their country.<\/p>\n

The host of the fundraising program Haji Younas Tahir thanked people for attending the event and said that we should support the candidates of the Pakistani-American Community so that the Pakistani American community can be as strong as possible in the United States.<\/p>\n
