Consulate General of Pakistan organized the exhibition of renowned Pakistani Artist Riaz Rafi in New York, where members of Pakistani-Americans admired the work of Karachi artist Riaz Rafi. The ceremony began with the recitation of the verses from the Holy Quran.<\/p>\n

Ayesha Ali, Pakistan’s Consul General in New York, praised Riaz Rafi’s work. She said that it was a matter of pride to hold such events, to bring a positive image of Pakistan to the world.<\/p>\n

Artist Riaz Rafi termed such events as a vital means of introducing Pakistani artists to the world. He further said that art is the language of any artist through which they speak, and such events should be held frequently to promote a softer image of Pakistan.<\/p>\n

The Pakistani community members participated in the exhibition, admired his work, and took pictures with him.<\/p>\n
