Survivors include a widow and two sons, family confirmed.<\/span><\/p>\n<div id=\"tw-container\" data-cp=\"1\" data-is-ver=\"false\" data-nnttsvi=\"1\" data-sm=\"1\" data-sugg-time=\"500\" data-sugg-url=\"https:\/\/clients1.google.com\/complete\/search\" data-uilc=\"en\">\n<div>\n<div>\n<div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>According to Hasan Zaidi, son of the deceased, funeral prayer will be offered at the Masjid-o-Imam bargah Yasrab, DHA, Phase 4, and will be laid to rest at the DHA Phase 8 Cemetery in Karachi.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Namaz-e-Janaza will be today after Maghribain (Maghrib is around 6:50pm) at Masjid-o-Imambargah Yasrab, Phase 4 DHA. He had also served as the managing director of PTV and an editor of a native publisher.<\/p>\n<p>PPP Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Farhad Zaidi and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.<\/p>\n<p>He prayed to Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage and fortitude to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Karachi, Leading journalist, poet and scholar Farhad Zaidi passed away in Karachi on Friday at the age of 91.
