The meeting was scheduled with his Pakistani counterpart Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, he also met with Noor ul Haq Qadri.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting, Umrah and\u00a0Hajj\u00a0pilgrims\u2019 visa and immigration issues under COVID-19 standard operating procedures were discussed between the two dignitaries.<\/p>\n<p>Initially, interior minister decided to include\u00a0Lahore\u00a0and\u00a0Karachi\u00a0in \u2018Road to Makkah\u00a0Project, News broadcaster reported.<\/p>\n<p>The decision was also taken that pilgrims from\u00a0Lahore, Islamabad and\u00a0Karachi\u00a0will directly land at the Makkah airport and their luggage will directly be transported to their hotels.<\/p>\n<p>Once these cities are included in the\u00a0Road to Makkah\u00a0project\u00a0the pilgrims will not undergo custom checking at the Saudi airports.<\/p>\n<p>Cities inclusion agreement will be finalized and announced on the eve of the\u00a0Hajj\u00a0agreement this year.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Islamabad, Saudi Arabia\u2019s interior minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif was on a day-long visit to Islamabad, Pakistan.
