A Fund Raising poetry event was organized in St. Louis to help Afghan refugees. A large number of Pakistani community attended the event.\"\"<\/a>Renowned Pakistani poet Abbas Tabish and comedian Khalid Masood participated in the poetry recital and won the hearts of the guests from their unique style of poetry.\"\"Local poet Dr. Ahmad Zaki hosted the event and presents his poetry.\u00a0 Prior to the poetry recital event begins, Sadia Jabeen of ICNA Relief St. Louis and Ikram Hussain, the local director of ICNA Relief, briefed the participants on ICNA Relief activities.<\/span><\/a>\"\"<\/a>Khalid Masood said regarding the acceptance of Urdu literature abroad, that in order to acquaint the new generation with Urdu language and keep them connected with Pakistan, it is necessary that Urdu literary activities should be held regularly.
