The Pakistani-American organization APAG-American Pakistani Advocacy Group set up a large food pantry in the Queens area of \u200b\u200bNew York, on the occasion of Thanksgiving Day.\"\"<\/a>The food pantry was also attended by Assemblyman David Weprin, Councilman Catherine Mooney from Richmond Hill and a pastor from the Christian community.\"\"<\/a>The needy were queued up in large number. Food pantry distributes groceries and halal turkey to more than 200 people.\"\"<\/a>President of APAG, Ali Rasheed, said that malnutrition was becoming a problem in New York and its need attention to paid.\"\"<\/a>While, appreciating the philanthropic work of Muslims, Assemblyman said that Muslims in the US may not be financially very stable, but they are generous in helping the needy. \"\"<\/a>Beneficiaries of the food pantry thanked APAG team and the Muslim community.
