Just wait!&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The value of bitcoin, the world&#8217;s largest cryptocurrency, has been highly volatile since it was created in 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Adams tweeted his intention to take paychecks in bitcoin, in response to Miami Mayor Francis Suarez&#8217;s pledge that he would take his paycheck in bitcoin after he was re-elected.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">In New York we always go big, so I\u2019m going to take my first THREE paychecks in Bitcoin when I become mayor.
