The ambulance carrying Omar Sharif&#8217;s body was showered with flower petals. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/vlcsnap-2021-10-06-21h30m26s345-e1633537885175.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-medium wp-image-22743\" src=\"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/vlcsnap-2021-10-06-21h30m26s345-e1633537885175-300x165.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"165\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/vlcsnap-2021-10-06-21h30m26s345-e1633537885175-300x165.png 300w, https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/vlcsnap-2021-10-06-21h30m26s345-e1633537885175.png 640w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p>According to police, more than 200 personnel led by two DSPs were deployed for the security of the funeral, walk-through gates were installed at the main gate of the park and generators and echo sound were installed in the park.<\/p>\n<p>A thorough search was also conducted by the Bomb Disposal Squad in Omar Sharif Park. After the funeral prayers, Omar Sharif&#8217;s body was taken to the premises of Abdullah Shah Ghazi Shrine where he was buried.<\/p>\n<p><span data-extra-container-classes=\"tw-verified-tooltip\" data-hover-hide-delay=\"1000\" data-hover-open-delay=\"500\" data-theme=\"0\" data-width=\"0\">Political and social personalities including Governor Sindh Administrator Sindh Murtaza Wahab MQM restoration Committee\u2019s Farooq Sattar Sindh Government Opposition Leader Khurram Sher Zaman Sindh Government Information Minister Saeed Ghani and other leaders including a large number of fans and people attended the funeral.
