The Embassy of Pakistan in Washington DC hosted a grand event to mark the 75th anniversary of Pakistan and to promote tourism and culture. A large number of Pakistani’s and US officials attended the event.\"\"<\/a>The event also featured a documentary on Pakistani food, music and culture. Beautiful landscapes of Pakistan and a photo exhibition based on the historical monuments and rich cultural heritage of the people was awakening the feeling of being in Pakistan away from the beloved homeland. The participants liked it enormously.\"\"<\/a>While addressing the ceremony, Pakistani Ambassador Dr. Asad Majeed Khan said that Pakistan is rich in magnificent natural landscapes and culture.\"\"<\/a>Dr Asad further added that government of Pakistan is taking comprehensive and practical steps to promote tourism, including better infrastructure, employment opportunities and easy visa policy.\"\"<\/a>Internationally, Pakistan is one of the best tourist destinations in the world.
