{"id":18573,"date":"2021-01-09T18:12:25","date_gmt":"2021-01-09T13:12:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/?p=18573"},"modified":"2021-01-09T18:12:25","modified_gmt":"2021-01-09T13:12:25","slug":"indonesian-aircraft-with-62-on-board-missing","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/18573","title":{"rendered":"Indonesian aircraft with 62 on board missing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>JAKARTA, Indonesia<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>An Indonesian passenger aircraft with 62 people on board lost contact with air traffic controllers on Saturday after taking off from the capital Jakarta.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Sriwijaya\" data-wsc-id=\"kjpohaqt2qlol5agu\" data-wsc-lang=\"en-US\">Sriwijaya<\/span>\u00a0Air flight SJY 182 flying from Jakarta to Pontianak, the capital of the province of West Kalimantan, lost contact at 2.40 p.m. local time (0740GMT), said Transportation Ministry spokesperson\u00a0<span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Adita\" data-wsc-id=\"kjpohaqr8yqqz71nu\" data-wsc-lang=\"en-US\">Adita<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Irawat\" data-wsc-id=\"kjpohaqqnpqnfwibn\" data-wsc-lang=\"en-US\">Irawat<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities are currently investigating and coordinating with the National Search and Rescue Agency and the National Transportation Safety Committee (NTSC).<\/p>\n<p>According to initial reports, on board were 56 passengers, two pilots and four crew members.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"scayt-misspell-word\" data-scayt-word=\"Sriwijaya\" data-wsc-id=\"kjpohatx0nkxticma\" data-wsc-lang=\"en-US\">Sriwijaya<\/span>\u00a0Air spokesperson Theodora Erika said the company is working to get more detailed information about the flight and will release an official statement later.<\/p>\n<p>According to FlightRadar24, a flight tracker website, it lost more than 3,048 meters (10,000 feet) in altitude in less than a minute.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>JAKARTA, Indonesia An Indonesian passenger aircraft with 62 people on board lost contact with air traffic controllers on Saturday after taking off from the capital Jakarta.
