He is a pioneer in using augmented reality for storytelling. His breakout project\u00a0Terminal 3\u00a0featured young Muslim immigrants and a collaboration with Magic Leap called\u00a0A Jester\u2019s Tale\u00a0explored the personification of AI. He founded speech-coaching app Orai (for \u201coral AI\u201d) with Drexel University classmates Aasim Sani and Paritosh Gupta in 2017. Between corporate clients including Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Comcast and IBM and individuals who pay $10 per month, 5,000 active monthly users record themselves speaking and receive feedback such as how many times they say \u201cum.\u201d The Philadelphia-based startup has raised $2.3 million in seed funding and expects to become profitable in 2021.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Faizan Bhatti<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-9830 jetpack-lazy-image jetpack-lazy-image--handled aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/inflics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/3-pakistanis-named-in-forbes-30-under-30-list-for-north-america-1607164257-2092-300x227.jpg\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" srcset=\"https:\/\/inflics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/3-pakistanis-named-in-forbes-30-under-30-list-for-north-america-1607164257-2092-300x227.jpg 300w, https:\/\/inflics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/3-pakistanis-named-in-forbes-30-under-30-list-for-north-america-1607164257-2092-768x582.jpg 768w, https:\/\/inflics.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/3-pakistanis-named-in-forbes-30-under-30-list-for-north-america-1607164257-2092.jpg 800w\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"227\" data-lazy-loaded=\"1\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Bhatti co-founded Halo Cars in 2019 while studying at the University of Pennsylvania, as a way to create new ad space on rideshare vehicles and a way for Uber and Lyft drivers to earn more money. \u201cSmart digital screens sit atop cars enabling the display of hyper-targeted ads,\u201d said Forbes, adding that startup-competition awards funded prototypes and a pilot and $500,000 from angel investors followed.
