Hafsah\u2019s novel \u201cWe hunt the flame\u201d has won many awards and was featured as a New York Times best seller. Hafsah was listed in the Forbes Art and Style category of the year 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The 27 year old was awarded for \u2018creating and designing\u2019 the future of arts. She is also the founder of \u2018Icey designs\u2019, a brand that makes notebooks, candles and more.<\/p>\n<p class=\"endmarkEnabled\">Faizal is currently busy at work writing the follow-up to \u201cWe Hunt The Flame.\u201d But she\u2019s not ruling out writing a book with explicitly Muslim characters in the future.<\/p>\n<p class=\"endmarkEnabled\">\u201cMaybe one day I\u2019ll write a book with hijabis in it,\u201d she said. \u201cI feel like as much as I want our own people to see ourselves in books, writing these stories also means introducing others to these cultures.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"endmarkEnabled\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Web desk, An award winning author and Niqabi from America, Hafsah Faizal, has become the first woman with a veil to be featured in the Forbes 30 under 30 list.
