An Australia-based Pakistani computer scientist, Shazia Sadiq, has been recognized for innovative STEM research by the prestigious Australian Academy of Technology and Engineering (ATSE). ATSE has recognized Shazia for her work which focuses on developing solutions for Business Information Systems to more effectively process information, significantly improving business process management, governance, and risk and compliance data.<\/p>\n

Shazia Sadiq<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Presently, Shazia is a computer science professor at the School of Information Technology and Electrical Engineering, University of Queensland.<\/p>\n

In 1989, Shazia received an MSc degree in computer science from Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. She completed her MS in computer science from the Asian Institute of Technology, Bangkok, Thailand, in 1993.<\/p>\n

She then moved to Australia and earned a Ph.D. in information systems from the University of Queensland in 2002.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, Pakistani lecturer Dr Mubashir Husain Rehmani has been named in the world\u2019s top 1% researchers<\/p>\n

Dr Mubashir Husain Rehmani<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

in the field of computer sciences. Rehmani\u2019s work focuses on wireless networks, blockchain, cognitive radio networks, and software-defined networks. He has written over 100 peer-reviewed articles, of which 12 were among highly cited articles by Clarivate. The professor\u2019s research work has been recognized internationally and has received multiple best paper awards.<\/p>\n

The educationist is a graduate of the Department of Computer Systems Engineering from the Mehran University of Engineering and Technology.<\/p>\n

The latest \u2018Highly Cited Researchers\u2019 report, compiled by Clarivate Analytics, highlights researchers with significant influence in their chosen field through the publication of cited papers during the last decade.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
