{"id":17883,"date":"2020-11-25T14:50:08","date_gmt":"2020-11-25T09:50:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/?p=17883"},"modified":"2020-11-25T14:54:08","modified_gmt":"2020-11-25T09:54:08","slug":"pakistan-gives-un-a-dossier-on-indian-terror-sponsorship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/17883","title":{"rendered":"Pakistan gives UN a dossier on Indian terror sponsorship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>New York<strong>,<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Islamabad gave UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres a dossier on Tuesday,\u00a0 containing \u201cevidence of India\u2019s systematic campaign to promote terrorism\u201d in Pakistan.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\"><a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Pakistan?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Pakistan<\/a> has shared with the SG <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/antonioguterres?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@antonioguterres<\/a>, a <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/Dossier?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#Dossier<\/a> containing evidence of India\u2019s systematic campaign to promote terrorism; evidence of India\u2019s active planning, aiding, abetting, financing &amp; execution of terrorist activities in Pakistan <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/IndianTerrorismExposed?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#IndianTerrorismExposed<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/tROixNf2HU\">pic.twitter.com\/tROixNf2HU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>&mdash; Permanent Mission of Pakistan to the UN (@PakistanUN_NY) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/PakistanUN_NY\/status\/1331396666335834117?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">November 25, 2020<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script><\/p>\n<p>The move comes a day after\u00a0 New Delhi provided a dossier to some UN Security Council members accusing Islamabad of the November 19 attack in the Indian-occupied Kashmir.<\/p>\n<p>The exchange of dossiers come ahead of India joining the 15-member council for a two-year term starting January 1, 2021.<\/p>\n<p>The dossier,\u00a0 Islamabad\u2019s permanent ambassador to the UN Munir Akram said, offered evidence of \u201cIndia\u2019s active planning, aiding, abetting, financing &amp; execution of terrorist activities in Pakistan\u201d and observed how India violated international law, the UN Charter and Security Council resolutions in the process.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-paragraph-2Bgue ArticleBody-para-TD_9x\">Akram said Pakistan called on Guterres and the international community \u201cto take note of Indian terrorism and subversion against Pakistan and to prevail on India to desist from these illegal and aggressive activities.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The episode follows a\u00a0 tweet of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi claiming to have neutralized four terrorists, belonging to a proscribed militant organization, in Nagrota district of held Kashmir and, as usual, blamed it on Pakistan. The following day, New Delhi\u00a0 \u00a0summoned \u00a0Islamabad\u2019s charge d\u2019affaires and offered \u201cstrong concern\u201d over the alleged attack.<\/p>\n<p>Subsequently, on Monday, India\u2019s Foreign Secretary\u00a0Harsh Shringla briefed a select group of foreign ambassadors about Pakistan\u2019s alleged role in the incident that occurred on November 19,\u00a0Times of India \u00a0reported.<\/p>\n<p>However, commenting on the briefing, Foreign Office spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhri on Tuesday\u00a0 said \u00a0the\u00a0briefing \u201cis yet another attempt to mischievously implicate Pakistan in some alleged planned attack occupied Kashmir\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe completely baseless and unsubstantiated Indian allegations are nothing but a reflection of desperate efforts on India\u2019s part to salvage its false terrorism narrative against Pakistan and to divert international attention from its state terrorism in the occupied valley and state-sponsorship of terrorism against Pakistan,\u201d he had added.<\/p>\n<p>Chaudhri observed India scaled-up its diplomatic offensive against Pakistan in recent days after it made public the \u201cirrefutable proof\u201d of Indian state-sponsorship of terrorism in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Chaudhri recalled Islamabad has been \u201cconsistently sensitizing the international community regarding the possibility of India undertaking a false flag operation with the intention to implicate Pakistan and jeopardizing regional peace and security\u201d. \u201cWe forewarn the world community once again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The spokesman added Pakistan will continue exposing India and will not let the world community be misled by its propaganda.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-paragraph-2Bgue ArticleBody-para-TD_9x\">The Himalayan region of Jammu and Kashmir has long been a flashpoint between the two nuclear-armed neighbors.
