{"id":17854,"date":"2020-11-24T12:59:58","date_gmt":"2020-11-24T07:59:58","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/?p=17854"},"modified":"2020-11-24T13:00:44","modified_gmt":"2020-11-24T08:00:44","slug":"pm-of-italian-fashion-dies","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.vosa.tv\/eng\/archives\/17854","title":{"rendered":"\u2018PM of Italian fashion\u2019 dies"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Rome<\/p>\n<p>Beppe Modenese, who helped catapult Italy to the top of world fashion and who was nicknamed its \u201cprime minister,\u201d has died, the head of the country\u2019s fashion industry said on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeppe Modenese contributed like no one else to the birth of the Italian fashion system and led the affirmation of Milan as the capital of fashion,\u201d Carlo Capasa said in a statement. \u201cHe was rightly called the prime minister of Italian fashion,\u201d said Capasa, who heads the National Chamber for Italian Fashion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday we lose an icon.\u201d The CNMI said Modenese died on Saturday aged 90.
