A man is arrested who was accused of this horrific crime against his own child.<\/p>\n<p>Austin Stevens was arrested and charged after his daughter Zara Scruggs was raped by him at his apartment in Lower Providence Township, Pennsylvania.<\/p>\n<div class=\"jeg_ad jeg_ad_article jnews_content_inline_ads  \">\n<div class=\"ads-wrapper align-center \"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Stevens waited for nearly an hour before calling 911 after the incident. His phone reveals multiple Google searches with subjects that included \u201cIf the baby stops breathing,\u201d \u201cWhat if you don\u2019t hear baby heart or beat,\u201d \u201cMy baby isn\u2019t breathing,\u201d and \u201cHow do you know if a baby is dead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An autopsy determined that Zara was sexually assaulted and suffered blunt force trauma to the head.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis case is deeply disturbing,\u201d District Attorney Kevin Steele said in a statement. \u201cIt is hard to imagine this child\u2019s death being any more traumatic: sexual assault on an infant, followed by inaction by the father to save her life, led to her death.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Pennsylvania: 10-month-old did not survive the sexual assault by her \u2018father\u2019.
